In Resonance: The Essence of My Creation
“In resonance” means a lot to me; it is the essence of my living. Above all, it means being open to possibilities in life. Twenty years ago, I stopped planning. Instead, I use all my senses to perceive the next step. This is a daily challenge that constantly accompanies and inspires me.

The Path to Art
At the age of twenty, I wanted to become an actress, singing, dancing, and performing on stage. I hold a degree in this field, which makes me smile because I dislike degrees. They say nothing about the real capacities of a human being. To me, they are just an easy way of putting people into boxes. I never wanted to be boxed.
My only contact with visual art was collecting postcards from Edgar Degas, Pablo Picasso, and Paul Gauguin. This collection is actually very interesting when I look at it 39 years later. Degas showed me his versions of the ballet class, which I truly adored. I loved Picasso for his child with the dove, while Gauguin touched my heart with his colorful scenes of women on distant islands.
The Search for Expression
As a woman, I have spent most of my life trying to be heard and seen. As an individual, I had all ears for my family, friends, and colleagues. As an artist, I went through years of trying to find the right key to my personal expression and what truly defines me. I worked as a trainer in various fields, teaching dance and creative expression. My students varied over the years: children, adults, therapists, singers, actors, and refugees filled my classes with joy. We all learned together, and I gained valuable experience in dealing with people.
Curiosity as a Driving Force
Curiosity has always been a faithful companion. It led me to understand my sensitivity, which, in the long run, sharpened my ability to perceive energy fields well. I always tried to look behind the scenes, as there is always something behind the “front door” or the “window display.” One day, I visited an art exhibition and began to sense into every painting I saw. It felt like an excursion into different worlds. Thus, the idea was born that the painting is a blueprint of the artist and their world.

The Creative Process
Years later, after some eye-opening classes in systemic energetics, I felt the urge to create artworks myself. It seemed as if the marker was forced into my hand. I wanted to dive into the music of Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi, Händel, and Hendrix, which was quite an exhilarating experience. So, I resonated with their music and everything behind it, becoming the field that drew itself.
Once again, curiosity led me to explore many other subjects, such as the energy field of Picasso and his work, Egon Schiele, the French Revolution, or the planets of our solar system. Often, the subjects find me rather than the other way around. It happens that I suddenly have to think intensively about something. It feels like a calling: “Please look at me.” Then I feel into it and receive a certain movement pattern. This is the initiation. I start with this line pattern on canvas or paper and continue by letting the subject take over. I draw symbols without knowing their meaning and use colors that emerge. Mostly, I work with markers and add acrylic colors while working on larger fields.
The Space of the Subconscious
In this work, the mind has no space; my subconscious does. When people ask about my aim with my art, I honestly have to say I don’t know. I simply love it when people sense what I create. When my art brings energy to large spaces and small rooms, it fills me with joy.

The Endless Possibilities
I love the endless possibilities that my way of creating has to offer. Above all, it is always a journey through space and time. To be in resonance means to view the world with open eyes and an open heart, ready to embrace the beauty and challenges of life.
