Art did not enter my life as a career pursuit or a childhood ambition. It arrived much later—quietly, unexpectedly, at a moment when I needed it most. I began painting in my forties as a form of therapy, a way to survive emotions too heavy for words. In the beginning, my paintings were pure instinct: abstract shapes, flowing colors, intuitive gestures that helped me breathe, feel, and release. And then, slowly, women’s faces emerged—symbolic, grounded, luminous. What began as an intimate healing process grew into something far larger: a calling, a language, and, eventually, a way of life. Through art, I discovered not only my own transformation, but a path that allows me to inspire transformation in others.

A Day Rooted in Rhythm, Ritual, and Purpose
My days unfold with intention. I start with morning exercises to awaken my body. Then comes a moment of creative planning, setting the emotional tone for the day before stepping into my studio. Painting is a daily practice, a source of joy and reflection. My studio is where intuition guides me, where each brushstroke becomes a dialogue, and where creativity flows gently into form. Evenings bring grounding—time with my husband and our garden, where simplicity becomes medicine. Beyond my own artistic practice, I host art therapy sessions, live events, and creative retreats. These gatherings are spaces of permission and possibility, where others can reconnect with their inner world and discover their own creative power.
Where Inspiration Lives: Between Opposites and Within Stories
My inspiration rises from life itself—stories, nature, movement, stillness, and the subtle tension between opposites. I am fascinated by the space between chaos and order, control and surrender, the known and the mysterious. The female portrait anchors my work. Her presence is a steady point of truth, while the abstract background suggests the ever-changing landscape of the outer world. Through this contrast, I explore the timeless depth of the feminine—its strength, intuition, resilience, and quiet magic.

Art and Life Intertwined
Art shapes my life, and my life shapes my art. My travels—to Egypt, Nepal, ancient temples, megalithic sites—feed my imagination and deepen my sense of connection to the unseen. I often paint directly in these places, letting their energy flow into the work. Alchemy is the heart of my practice: the transformation of emotion, experience, and inner truth into visual form. My Atelier in RybnÃk, surrounded by a flourishing garden, is a place where inspiration grows naturally and where I invite others to experience their own creative awakening.
Healing as a Beginning, Not an End
My path into art was born from pain. Overwork, grief, and the loss of my brother pushed me into deep physical exhaustion, eventually manifesting as anemia. My obsession with work was a way of avoiding sorrow—until my body demanded stillness. To heal, I had to rediscover myself. Painting became the doorway back to life, back to balance, back to the truth of who I am. Now, through my work, I hope to guide others toward their own healing and self-discovery.

A Vision of Inspiring Others
I hope my work whispers to something deeper within—a quiet sense of hope, of possibility, of strength waiting to be discovered. I hope it reminds us that we can always begin again, that it is never too late to tell our story, to forgive, to feel, to create. Each painting is born from the alchemy of self-discovery, a reflection of the journey to know ourselves and to rise as fully realized human beings. It carries the wisdom that transformation is possible, that within every one of us is the power to heal, to grow, and to shine. Through my art, I invite you to pause, to breathe, and to see—to see yourself reflected, to see the potential in your own story, and to feel the subtle magic of life unfolding. It is not just paint on canvas; it is a mirror for the soul, a gentle call to embrace your inner light and your limitless possibility.
The Magic of Connection
Some of the most meaningful moments in my journey are those of connection—with collectors, artists, travelers, and viewers who resonate with my portraits. When someone sees their story in my work, something powerful happens. Art becomes a bridge, a shared moment of understanding, a reminder that transformation is universal.
Challenges as Teachers
I have not experienced dramatic negativity in the art world. The challenges—self-doubt, uncertainty, technical experimentation—became teachers guiding me toward authenticity, depth, and trust in my path.
Advice for Fellow Artists
Trust your journey. Explore boldly. Let intuition be your compass. Mistakes are not failures; they are layers of discovery. Stay patient—your voice will unfold gradually, like a painting built in many translucent layers.
What I’m Creating Now
I recently completed my 2026 art calendar, created with poet Bibka Buchelová. For five years, our collaboration has woven painting and poetry into a dialogue for each month—an invitation to experience art not only visually, but emotionally and spiritually. Through this work, I hope to offer daily inspiration—a reminder that beauty, depth, and transformation are always within reach.
